BESIGN The Sustainable Design School in Nice, in the South of France, is the only institution of higher education systematically linking design to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals from United Nations. We teach our students to act both for the human being and for the planet, using design processes to serve Sustainable Innovation. Our students understand that the call for the sustainable transition is a global issue and gathers the full commitment of creative minds from different backgrounds. Therefore, the education at BESIGN The Sustainable Design School is related to tangible problems, the proposed solutions are holistic, considering the complexity of the human society and the challenges related to the climate change.

Price: First year of the Bachelor level: 7.500€ (8.500€ for non-EU citizens). Second and third years of the Bachelor level: 9.600€ (10.600€ for non-EU citizens)

Degree: Our Diploma Designer en Innovation Durable (Designer in Sustainable Innovation) is recognized by the French national register of professional qualifications (RNCP), as a level 7 of the European qualifications Framework (EQF).
Tuition fee : First and second years of the Master level: 10.500 € per year (11.500 € for non-Eu citizens*).
400 € registration fee (to be paid once)

Scholarships for international students

You want to study at BESIGN The Sustainable Design School, but you need financial help? Our scholarship, granted by The SDS Friends endowment fund, is based on social criteria but also on excellence,  your motivation and the relevance of your future plans as a Designer in Sustainable Innovation. The scholarship is limited to 1.500€ per study year, for a maximum of two years. To apply, you will need to provide us with your former degrees, the transcript of records, your CV and cover letter. BESIGN The Sustainable Design School is one of the founder members of UCA and remains an associate member. Our student association The Seeds – BDE was created in 2013, right after the foundation of BESIGN-The Sustainable Design School. Our objective is to create an active network, mingling students, and professionals, for collaborations in the field of association, events, projects, and international.
